All-round Practical format with pieces, scales, sight-reading and aural tests. Strong fit when you want every component visible in the week.
Trinity Live
Live exam with supporting-test choice at the grade. Useful when you want examiner-room practice and a deliberate musicianship option.
RCM Certificate
Level-based certificate path with musicianship documents beside the repertoire book. Check theory co-requisites as levels rise.

Which Violin pathway should I choose?
Match the format you will actually enter: ABRSM Practical for a balanced live grade, Trinity Live when supporting-test choice matters, and RCM when you follow the certificate curriculum and its musicianship documents. Ask your teacher before switching mid-year.
Can Arco tell me which board is easier?
No. Difficulty depends on the learner, the teacher’s guidance and the exact grade or level. Compare requirements from official sources rather than chasing a predicted pass rate.
