# Reading at Sight, Cello

Fluent score reading at tempo

Orchestral and chamber musicians must read new music reliably the first time. This module trains the mental skills behind true sight-reading: scanning ahead, recognizing idiomatic patterns, and maintaining rhythm when notes go wrong.

Advanced · 5 lessons · approximately 64 minutes of material (not a mastery deadline).

## Where should I start with reading at sight?
The curriculum places The High Road before this module. Review those topics if they are unfamiliar. The first lesson is “The Sight-reading Method”: A systematic approach to reading cold. The order is a study guide, not proof that every learner needs the same pace.

## How long is the reading at sight module?
The 5 listed lessons total approximately 64 minutes of material. That estimate describes lesson content, not the practice time needed to become comfortable with fluent score reading at tempo. Revisit one task at a time and use feedback from a teacher where physical technique is involved.

## What can I try here without an account?
